I’m staying in Maryland from August 2 with AGU members. I want to have a good time with mentors and teachers and make wonderful memories. At first, I didn’t like American food. It tastes good, but too oily and big. But I’m getting used to it.
By the way, I went to Pentagon city to go shopping yesterday. I was excited all the time because there were many shops. Perhaps, I went almost all shops with Kana. I bought a lot of accessories. On my way to Pentagon city, I talked with Laura about Hanayoridango2 and Japanese actors and so on. I shouted with Kana on the train. I’m sorry.(;_;)
Today, I took a class in the morning. After that, we went to The Washington Post. I felt happy because Japanese machines were used!! I wanted to see the machine working.

It must have been a surprise to know that the machines used at the Washington Post are from Japan. I feel very proud when I know that a product from my country is used abroad. Venezuelan chocolates are somehow famous and I am glad to hear they are used my chefs around the world to make their chocolate creations.

I agree with you about the oiliness of American food. Many foods here are also too salty and many other foods here are too sweet!
I didn't really understand the reference to Hanayoridango2, but I did some online research and found the Hana Yori Dango website. Have you seen it?
